He can't be using entirely renewable energy. Propane is not renewable. That's what he uses to heat his swimming pool, and for his house. (Read the article: $500+ a month for the house and the pool house in Gas)

Not good!

For some reason, I thought you were MUCH older than me!

Thank God I ain't got Arthritis yet! I have a bad shoulder from getting thrown off a dirt bike when I was 21, but it's nothing a couple Crown and Cokes can't fix!

Hey, we're going to the 7 O's in Sunderland one of these weeks. We were going to go tomorrow, but if it's snows I think we'll bag it (it's an Open Mic), so we'll probably head there next Thursday. We're going to try to get on stage around 10 PM. If you fell like going out and hearing a REAL band, let me know, and I'll let you know when we're going. It's on Rt 116 in Sunderland, the other side of U-Zoo...

BWAHAHAHA!!! Man, I couldn't even IMAGINE it! Way too much for me! I saw that about 2-3 years ago in alt.binaries.image.fun. I wouldn't even want to start the damn thing!

Takes about 2-3 hours.

Had one, but it 'broke'.

Sounds good to me! The way I take care of my cars, they would all still look MINT! Even my '85 Hachiroku.

Thanks for the invite. If it's a night we can make it, we'll be there.

Lead can deposit in the bones. It replaces bone tissue with lead deposits. It can cause arthritis or just sit there and do nothing.

You could probably clear most of the snow with just the exhaust. Home Depot- not likely

So maybe $0.50.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes. Seriously, I imagine that the snow thrower does use in the neighborhood of 8 - 10 A, which is about 1000 W. That is a pretty heavy current draw. You need to make sure you have high enough capacity, or there could be a hazard.

It is true it can be deposited in bones, but artritis in the joints. The joints are lined by cartilage. If you do a search on lead and arthritis, you don't find much. I doubt that leaded gasoline has anything to do with your arthritis, especially after all these years.

There are far more chemicals in leaded gasoline than just tetraethyl lead.

Is that what they mean when they say, get the lead out?

My grandfather taught me how to siphon gas, without sucking on the hose. Get a hose that is twice the length of the filler neck, lower the hose all the way down into the tank, place you finger over the end of the hose, pull it out to a level well below the tank, remove your thumb. Whola, the trapped gasoline starts to run all by itself LOL

Yea, and they're worried about my eight freaking HP snowblower and it's "carbon footprint".

dbu,

Is that LOL instead of SOG (spitting out gas??

My dad has a little pump that plugs into the cigarette lighter. It takes

3/8" or 1/4" tubing. And they have special hoses that have a bulb and valve that lets you manually start the flow of fuel or whatever.

In science class, I learned never to siphon anything with my mouth. We used siphon dangerous chemicals and various kinds of microorganisms. If you siphon that stuff down, you will be bring something back up.

Gasoline is not something to fool with. It has a depressive effect on the central nervous system. And it contains many different organic compounds.

Did you mean to say; "It is true it can be deposited in bones, but arthritis in the joints?" or "It is true it can be deposited in bones, but arthritis is in the joints." ?

True, my arthritis may originate from something entirely separate from lead in gasoline. I'll leave it at that.

I think I was about 4 years old when my grandfather showed me how he filled bottles from a large drum. What he didn't show me was how he *stopped* the flow. I got in trouble deep when I tried to imitate him when he wasn't around. All I could do was throw the hose on the ground and run away. I caused him a lot of grief.
