It ain't happening tomorrow! We figure, if it's lousy weather, it ain't worth it! If we were getting PAID, it'd be a different story!

Perhaps next week, if it doesn't snow for a THIRD Thursday in a row!

Sorry, I hope the remark doesn't get blown all out of proportion.

Boy you WANTED that bad boy!!!!!!

Started bidding....and ended up with a large bid at the end.

What would I have had to bid to beat ya?

Looks like it will do the job!!!!!

I wasn't going a lot further...

I figured with getting it here, about $50 as it turned out, and then any repairs, I was going to stop at $75.

But, bear this in mind: I paid $350 for one just like it that the auger gearbox quit after 5 uses! This was from a shop, too! When I called the guy, he says "What do you want me to do? There's no guarantee on used equipment!" FIVE USES?!?!?! I finally got him to give me another one with a blown motor but good augers. They are REALLY easy to work on; it took

Sounds like fun!!!!

I've never used a snow blower, but it does look pretty neat.

I play the Ebay game a bit different. I was after a Bell & Howell Slide cube projector and did the last second bid a couple of times.

That did not work. Found one that ended in the middle of the night and put a max bid in at about 8 PM. I was very amazed that I won that one without the other bidder even bidding me up.

Ebay is fun.

Looks real nice-just in time for the weekend storm, eh?

That's what I was thinking, but it looks like it's going to be mostly rain now. That's OK!

Give 'em a break--they're just trying to cement their relationship

Yeah, don't want them to feel too mortified (mortarfied). I know - a stretch.

But hey, my spell checker wanted "mortarfied" to be "mortified"; so some vindication. ;-)

Your spellchecker may be "plastered"

A good come-back; I may have to throw in the trowel if I can't come up with another one.

So you think that remark will smooth everything over?

Usually, I win what I bid on. There have been a few times I had to 'snipe', because I got sniped a few times. I'm surprised I got this thing for only $60. There was a 7 or 8 I was bidding on that went for >$300!!!!

Ugh! The two of you are about to make me grout!
