OT- House votes to annoy OPEC

It definitively crushes the idea about democrats preventing oil exploration.

No it does not!! What about drilling and beginning oil recovery operations?

I invite you to watch CSPAN tonight:

Have you already watched the hearings from start to finish?

No didn't have time. You can watch them now if you go to the link, click it and use the CSPAN video tool. I'm watching it now.

I'll have to watch it in pieces. Don't have 3 contiguous hours between now and same time tomorrow. College kid home, eating my brain, food (50 lbs at a time), furniture. :-)

I understand. It's available 24 hours, so you can watch it tonight and tomorrow morning, early, 1 or 2 AM. You won't be doing anything then and he'll be sleeping, (you hope) at that time.

Are you kidding? He's home from college. Typical bedtime: 3:00 AM, right after dinner #4.

Leave it to the village idiot to get us off subject. Think you could do us the favor of not wasting bandwidth for just one thread? I doubt it.

Who cares what you wanted? You are the biggest waste of bandwidth here.

Why do you think it's off subject?

Dinner #4, ah yess, to be that age again and not to worry about anything except grades and if dad will loan the car for a few hours.

How about places where there's oil? Those would be good places to start.

LOL! Lynch myself? Not quite.

I made a post to something I heard on Beck's show. True or not? I don't know. I don't work for Beck.

I did provide links to show other countries are drilling for oil off our shores, including the Chinese. Tell me, Joe, *WHY* should we not be going after the oil ourselves?

I didn't lynch myself. I lynched Beck.

Let's see if he answers this. I have asked him the same question and all he comes back with is subterfuge...

See? Won't answer the question.

WHY SHOULD WE NOT BE DRILLING FOR OIL ON OUR OWN SOIL, JOE?

Reply to

You are assuming I agree with our not going after oil on our own property. How can I answer a question about something I don't agree with?

Reply to
JoeSpareBedroom

Yes it can. Green Peace, et al file lawsuits that tie things up in the courts for years.

WHY SHOULD WE NOT BE DRILLING FOR OIL ON OUR OWN SOIL, JOE?

You didn't just relay his message. You defended his theory for at least two days, which means you adopted his theory as your own.

Good for you. Just because the legislation's there doesn't mean we're doing it.

How about endangered Polar Bears? Lawsuits?

WHY SHOULD WE NOT BE DRILLING FOR OIL ON OUR OWN SOIL, JOE?
