With the dimmer set to full intensity, the display intensity is intermittently dim.

I guess its just annoying to you, my high beam light indicator was to bright and annoying to me, I covered it with electric tape, it no longer bothers me.

Can you set it to Dim?

Will it intermittently get even dimmer?

Just in the last few days, the clock on my 98 Camry has also started to dim in daylight. The clock light is supposed to dim when the headlights are on because presumably it is easier to read in the dark. In daylight, the number must be illuminated brighter to be able to seem them.

But now, in daylight, the illumination of the clock numbers dims intermittently, The intermittent dimming takes place on individual numbers (they don't always dim together), so that lighting of the clock numbers is uneven.

Just noticed this yesterday.
