'96 Camry Steering problem? help!

I have a '96 Camry with 117k that has a new noise. I recently had the complete front brakes replaced, but have driven for a few day since noticing this noise.

When turning left, there is a noticeable clicking noise, that resets when the wheel is reurned to the right-any ideas? I am due for a new car, but I bought this one new and would like to keep for a couple of years if I do not have to dump huge cash into it.

Please email if you have ideas, I do not get here much! Thanks in advance _Ken

It could be the new pads clicking in their mounts in the caliper as the disc maybe slightly out of true and on turns the disc leans slightly loading the pads against the disc. But the more likely cause is the CV joint on that side. They will wear out and get noisy if they have a torn/cracked boot.
