I kmow by the VIN you can tell if the car was made in this country or Japan. Anyone know exactly how? If I'm buying a Japanese car I want it made in Japan, Dammit!!

Looks like my next choice will be a Lexus or a Scion.

I looked at some new Toyota stickers (southern CA). 2005 Corollas began with 1N while the lone Corolla XRS began with 2T.
