Any chance of still purchasing an 04 Taco?

Dealers around here have nothing on the lots, but Toys have always moved well in this area (Colorado).

And yeah, I'd like a fairly particular truck, although they were pretty common in most dealer inventories. Xtra Cab, V6, 5 spd, SR5, TRD. (7553 LX OF CQ RL BU)

Nothing left on the lots here in the NE, $1,000 back from Toyota and heavy dealer discounts have cleared them out. I got one of the last ones out the door at just over $19k.

Yeah, that sure is a "particular truck." Wise choice. They certainly are not common inventory here on the east coast--I've owned two, and I had to search them out. I've got 90K miles on my second one (I sold my first one, a '96 2WD 5sp Taco w/NA V-6), and I had to do a lot of looking around to find one even then.

Beginning in '01, the only way to get that option menu was to buy the S-Runner, which is what I own now. There is no SR5 anymore. That was a meaningless designation anyway.

Considering you want the strong 5VZ V-6 and a manual tranny, you'll probably want the supercharger as well. Don't be fooled into thinking that the TRD kit is all you'll need to make it run properly, though. A URDUSA.com fuel kit is mandatory equipment.
