71 microbus pics w/ questions.

On alt.binaries.pictures.autos, please see the following subjects:

71 micro manifold - my centermounted Weber's intake manifold, showing, I believe, the preheating tube.

71 micro return spring - very sophisticated throttle return spring, I'm guessing.

71 micro fan housing -- showing some possibly worrisome holes in the fan housing. Plug'em with chewing gum?

71 micro mystery thingy -- so . . . this electrical thing is sort of laying on the left side of the engine compartment. Note the unattached terminal lug to its right. WTF?

And lastly (can't find this in my service manual):

71 micro shelf - to the right of the engine. Looks like a good place to warm food on, but I'll wager something important used to go there.

Duct Tape. Never leave home without. :)

Dunno.. some funky voltage regulator? Rear window defroster relay? Self destruct timer? Wait no, that's located between the steering wheel and the driver's seat... ;)

Support for stock aircleaner housing.

So I *can* use it to heat food on!
