Identifying a 67 only hood

That's it? So it is an older style "long" hood with holes the correct size for the later molding clips?

...thats it. =-) in a pinch you can use an earlier hood..just weld up the holes and re-drill for the smaller clips. Done right it should be un-noticable from either side, and the other year hoods are often easier to find in excellent shape.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Certainly gives me an option. One thing that I noticed about my old hood (besides rust and bullet holes) was that the edges near the windshield bowed away from the body on the sides. I think it might be because the apron was bent but I'm not sure. That was another reason I was just going to replace it...All I need is a hood and 4 fenders and Ican start fitting my fron and rear clips! Woohoo!
