So basically, when the Bush gov went before the united nations and said Iraq had mobile chemical weapons facilities, and nuclear capabilities etc. they were telling us all the truth?

Well if it says it on wikipedia then it must be true... Um, do you actually have any idea how wikipedia works? :-) Hang on, I think I see Bigfoot in my back yard. I'm going to go say I did on wikipedia now so that it will be true.

Turd, take it easy guy... i was just messing with you, like i do *any* person that starts a political thread... when it comes to politics it is very easy.... i have beliefs, but you'll never hear me stating them in a car group... head on over to a politics board if you want to discuss politics..

AGREED!! Might as well be discussing why star trek is better/worse than star wars....

Everybody who is anybody *knows* that Star Trek is way out of Star Wars' league. :-)

Back on topic, it looks like my Camo Baja Bug is going back on the market. I need the cash for other projects and I'm not driving it as much as I used to...

Wikipedia is very good for establishing timelines. But it has it's failings. Most wiki pages have references, if you check them you can assess how accurate the page is. However, for the terminally ignorant, at least pointing them to a location where they can get information is helpful even if they are too dumb to read it.

I didn't start the thread. Besides, tire inflation really isn't a political issue unless somebody makes it into one, somebody did, and I responded. Now, if we can get gas down to a reasonable price I will be happy :-)

is terminally ignorant better than completely brainwashed?

Joey Tribiani

well SOaB.... sorry turd, I really thought you started this thread... apologies.

Neither are a good situation, that's why you shouldn't get your news from Rush Limbaugh. If you hear somebody make a statement, and it doesn't sound right to you, doing a little research is quite helpful. It prevents you from becoming ignorant and brainwashed.

No need to apologize, but doing so shows you are a stand up guy. The problem with discussing politics is that everyone has different viewpoints and they can never get resolved and often result in heated discussions. Best keep it to discussing cars at least we can all agree aircooled VW's are awesome :-)

to bring this more on topic, Rush is in the same league as John Muir.... has entertainment value, but don't the most credible source.

agreed..... what's better, type 1, type 2, type 3, or type 4?
