HAS ANYBODY ANY IDEAS OR HOW TO REMOVE THE WINDOW AS THE HAYES MANUAL IS CRAP AND DOES GIVE YOU ANY DETAILS IF WINDOWS IN THE UP POSTION

Well, first of all YOUR CAPS ARE ON AND MAKES THINGS REALLY HARD TO READ AND TENDS TO PISS PEOPLE OFF IF YOU KEEP DOING IT - btw, when you figure out where your caps lock is - while you are at it - also try to find your period button and use it periodically.

Using caps means you are screaming and nothing with that Golf can be _that_ frustrating, right? :)

You are also screaming in the wrong news group -- isn't a Golf watercooled? This group is for aircooled VWs (bugs, etc) Scream in this one instead: rec.autos.makers.vw.watercooled

  1. Please dont shout, someone will get upset.
  2. This is aircooled group, you need watercooled.
  3. Have you checked for pinched wires inside the rubber tube thingy at the door hinges ? Chances are one is broken & needs sorting.

yep, damn near as irritating as someone that doesn't post a proper quote...

Sorry about that - Using Google since I don't have access to a news port from work. It doesn't quote automatically and one has to jump through hoops to do it. Will straighten out and post right :)
