I probably will not get one since you have to buy their special coil too. This would cost a total of about $165.00 USDollars. Then I probably could not use it with my CDI.
My Pertronix I and Tiger CDI will be fine for now. Thanks!
I have used both the Tiger CDI and the Pertronix Ignitor on my VW for four years and am quite pleased with both products. You don't have to buy their coil despite their claims.

I think I misread your message. I'm pretty sure I have the older Pertronix I, not the new and improved model II.

For who is interested, i can sell you a modified golf II dist which can operate with a TP100 ign module (which i can supply with it) All you need is the old bottom of your dist (the round plate with
2 fins on it. Wiring diagram is very simple. I use this on my 72 high top bay and 64 split and it does a good job.Join the Discussion
