So far, I love the 94 850 5 speed I bought......except for the wet spaghetti shifter in it.
Is there a more positive shifter available for this? Ron/Champ 6
Maybe something wrong on your car? I find the shift on my 850 to be quite positive.
Any ideas what the typical wear parts are? This one only has 68k miles on it, but it's pretty sloppy in comparison to my '95 Passat with 120K on it ...or even my old '92 Passat with nearly 200K...they are cable operated shifters too.
