I just bought a used '02 Golf, and the previous owner installed an aftermarket CD player. This player is in the slot directly below the pop-out cup holders and unfortunatley prevents the cup holders from opening all the way. I called Crutchfield and asked if they had advice
-- they said it probably should have been installed in the slot below. Does this sound right to you? Hard to believe that someone would install it in the wrong slot.
