MK1 Transit carburettor

Depends which manifold it was made for. A picture of the mounting flange would be helpful.

I've got some photos of the bottom half of the carb on the manifold. One critical clearance even with this carb is with the distributor.

Are you suggesting there are more relevant ones I should be posting to? So far I've posted to 3 groups, hardly a crime.

Different groups have different sets of enthusiasts so I felt it was appropriate to post to this one when I found out about it.

For information I now discover the VV has a very different mounting arrangement.

No, I'm suggesting that you should learn not to multi-post and that this was an appropriate time to cross-post. Besides your question seems to have been answered appropriately elsehwere so it seems bizarre to start all over again.

Single choke Weber off a 1.6 Capri Laser will fit on this.

Many thanks, I will take a note of the site for future reference. I managed to find a Corsair carb which fits though it doesn't come with a guarantee. Also the filter banjo doesn't quite fit so things will need a degree of improvisation but I'm hoping it should get me moving.
