Possibly... My old 3.5 is sat on Warrens floor at present :-)
If you do decide to sell it, leave it where it is. He'll be needing it there anyway...
How much would you be needing for it?

I made the mistake of going to see a chap about some axles he was going to put in a skip. He was a complete loon (I mean that in a good way Gary, BTW) and had a fantastic Series 2 / Series 3 / Rangie V8 contraption which he had built himself (doing everything the hard way as far as I could see, including making his own exhaust system, contriving a distributor from Metro bits (!) and building his own hybrid chassis). He's got an adaptor plate going spare (along with a few other choice bits) and it's got me thinking about the shagged out
2.25 in my Series 2 (which is going back on the road on Monday incidentally). The wife has thrown her hands in the air and said "what the hell, it's only money" which sounded a lot like 'yes' to me! I'll have to see what Warren finds wrong with the Series 2 on Monday and then schedule the engine swap. I am, however, a bit tempted to strip and rebuild the engine first, just to see if I can.
I've also got plans for the Discovery, which will need to be slotted in somewhere along the way...

If anyone wants to have a look, may i suggest

Tell us then!
Martyn and Gary both know, but they also know that if Mandy finds out she will kill me. Before I die I will tell her it was their idea!
The public plan is a 2 inch lift, some aggressive tyres (which I have already) and some underbelly protection (for the car, not me). There is another element to the plan, but having received two very amusing credit card bills this morning I may have to attack it in two stages...

On or around Wed, 06 Aug 2003 21:56:03 +0100, Tim Hobbs enlightened us thusly:
[V8 into series]'s rumoured to be a relatively difficult conversion. The word is that you need stageI exhausts manifolds. Range rover ones worked on the 110, but I suspect that the chassis is wider on that, and the inner wings are less intrusive. At that, access to the exhaust manifold-to-downpipe joints isn;t as good as one might hope. Mine uses RR downpipes and Y-pipe, with standard
110 box and rear pipe.Have something to add? Share your thoughts — no account required.
