It was very nice. On the second bottle now and I believe that there may be some nice brandy in the cupboard, which we are going to have with some coffee, after the cheescake I made.

My Dad worked for Golden Wonder as a food technologist - you may thank him or not, as the case may be, for Pot Noodles. It was part of his job to come up with these vile and tasteless processed packet things. Wouldn't dream of eating them himself though. His aversion to things like that has rubbed off on me. Fresh food is the best food and if you can grow it yourself(got an allotment as the garden is now a builders yard)that's even better.

We service a potatoe companies trucks , the driver told me the other day they are thinking of opening up a "3 minute chip" side you know semi cooked as the don't seem to be moving as many 'taters as they used too One of there suppliers told the gaffer he shifts twice as many bags of chips as bags of 'taters

me, I love 'proper' food but unfortunately I (we) don't have the time so it's oven chips and burgers or something I must add we have a proper sunday dinner and tend to have something like spag bol one evening a week if we can

They have to call the chips in MacDonalds French Fries as they are mushed up(Smash) potatoes, extruded in a chip shape and deep fried.

I usually do my mp3's as VBR, using -alt-preset standard in LAME (or

-r3mix in the past). Sound good enough to me. Ive seen convincing enough arguments to use this over CBR..

My chosen software is MusicMatch Jukebox, which does most of what I want.

Apparently these will be real potatoes chipped the semi deep fried (blanched?) and you take them from the bag and fry them for 3 minutes or something like that

I think I'll stick with buying potatoes and frying them for 6 minutes instead - life's not so hectic that I can't wait 3 mins for fresh chips!

In my car I can hear the difference between 128 kbps and stuff done in a decent bitrate. (car has better kit than my pc ATM)

You have to do the chopping up too though. Adds an extra few minutes!, and more importantly makes more washing up! (I hate washing up!)

We keep getting donated freezers, so currently have enough freezer space to store tons of frozen chips!. Sadly nobody has yet donated a dishwasher :(. Might go and check out the sales..

If someone wants to donate a small fridge (18*18*20) I know a good home! (theres a gap under my desk in my room that is supposed to be where the chair goes but my new office chair doesn't fit - so a fridge would sit in ther enicely to store beer ans stuff instead of down the side of my pc (the coolest part of my room - too many fans in it!)!!!

When our washing machine and dishwasher broke down about the same time, the dishwasher was replaced first.

They have to call them Fries because although they are made from potato, they aren't chipped potatoes.
