Can anyone tell me what oil I should use to top up a fairey overdrive?

Exactly the same as you put in the transfer case. Excess oil from the O/drive flows into the transfer case so must be compatible.

There's EP90 in mine and it's still going strong after 30 plus years.
Or it would be if I could fabricate a new linkage rod for it having broken the old lash up recently :-(
