Well, a week in, and as a classic rangie owner...

I love it. Will rev but not idle, or idle but not rev on LPG (think the diaphragm=20 might be ripped), and it probably needs a new switch to "look" proper=20 because it is a bit of a bodge and the LPG gauge doesn't work.

But it drives great. Creaks too much, rattles too much and is running=20 rich, so I'm using about =A350 of petrol+ =A310 of LPG in about 180 miles= =20 (rrely get a proper clear run of more than 5 miles to drive on LPG=20 before needing to switch back).

Goes in for it's MOT on the 21st, have patched the 3 fuel breathers that=20 go from the tank to the filler with fuel line as it was squirting petrol=20 from 1 and dripping from the others. Have adjusted the handbrake so that it will hold at 1500-2000 revs in=20 drive on the 4th notch, instead of holding at idle and moving at any=20 revs on the 5th notch.

Need to sort out the mixture next.

Do they really go to the filler? Do you mean the three short lengths of flexi hose that join three nylon pipes which disappear into the space between the inner and out O/S wing? Mine (1988 and 1990 RRCs) connect to the vapour catch tank.

Just replaced mine and the tank drain - which involved moving the tank forwards by about an inch! Don't you just love RR!
