I have just been looking through the service history of a car my sister has obtained. The old MoT certificate from MrClutch has "cambelt to be changed at next MoT" written on it in biro. The car: Merc 220 CDI (chain cam)

One MOT station wanted to adjust the front wheel bearing on my BMW - too much play, they said. But the bearings ain't adjustable. And there was no play either.
Loose nut? Maybe not the wheel nut.
