I don't like the look *at-all* - it was purely a value for money thing. Take a look - the oldest X-Types are an absolute steal today.

I love depreciation :D

In news: snipped-for-privacy@nnrp-t71-03.news.uk.clara.net, Grant decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows

XK is an XJS in a party frock, if we're going to keep this theme of platform sharing going.

Yeah, but it's a lovely party frock.

But it's what lurks under that counts for most people.

Or the personality?

[...cam belt changing...]

Cambelt life can be fairly accurately calculated using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and a recommended replacement interval set at a point before which no significant failures should have occurred.

Early failure, of a belt of correct spec, is almost always due to errors in the setup...

If a recommended interval has been reduced it suggests real failures are happening before the calculated worst case; a good reason to be fanatical about being on time for the shortest suggested interval.

Buy OE and be protected if it fails!
