I's gone chavvy, innit

Speaking as someone who's driveway is currently groaning under 4.5 ton of Range Rovers, I really can't have a pop at you for driving a fat bastard.

I hope you enjoy it, and if we ever get round to another meet, I wanna go (Will bring traders policy)

Awesome :-) I'm sure I will, it's crackin to drive, and makes an awesome sound when you get over 5krpm then over 7krpm. Handles better than pretty much anything I've ever driven as well - except for possibly a VX220, but once you're moving, this is notably quicker than the 2.2 VX. And the brakes are in a different league, 4 pot Brembos, 100-0 in just shy of 4 seconds. Which is anyone wishes to google it is well in supercar territory...

One passed me the other day in the ZX. It seemed to corner well, but you can hardly tell when you're following it in a 1.9D ZX with a screaming girlfriend in the passenger seat. What surprised me most is that the entire body of the things is different - front and rear arches seem about 6 inches wider than a standard clio.

Yea they have a wider track, and so much wider wings :)

Ah, the 'I've got a motorbike' clause - the last refuge of the scoundrel. Used by people with s*it cars the world over.

I'll wager that round any track or down any interesting bit of road, Dan's car will piss on any car of yours from a great height.

It's a good and valid argument.

Cars are for people who don't have the balls to ride bikes :-P

No doubt it would, given that the 156 was designed 15 years ago, the 75 designed 25 years ago and the Passat is a lardy diesel barge.

But it doesn't change the fact that he's bought a girlie French shopping car when he could have had an M-Coupe ;-)

Thanks.

Yeah, whatever. Save it for when we're having a discussion about motorbikes. (c:

Oh that's right, so you've only got 1 RWD car and its old and slower than a hot (if lardy) Clio, and somehow this is better?

Heh, If they're so good, why don't you buy one? (c:

The one based on the same chassis as my Ibiza? You'd be shocked at just how well it goes round the twistys (most people are when they make the mistake of trying to outrun me on my commute.)
