He isn't *reposting* anything. From where?? "The Newsgroup"?

Where is this magical "newsgroup" that you think exists in space and time?

It only exists when it is displayed somewhere. Whether one pulls them off a newsreader that carries the group and displays them on a personal computer, or a website or a BBS system or downloads them on CD Rom and passes them on makes no difference. Please get that through your head.

His newsserver might actually pull the feed before yours, and have it on his site before you get it on yours.

This is getting tedious. Read the Usenet FAQS:

Well, I don't want to lead you on. I'm not really interested. Most brits I've met just seem to be snobby prigs.

Nope, I just like to eat, and Jenna Jameson would look good on any menu.

You probably met my brother.

OTOH the Brits comprise the Scots and the Welsh too. The Scots are not prigs, especially when they've been on the ale. The Welsh...oh yeah....very priggish. We don't talk about them much, they're a bit like the Mad Woman In The Attic. ;-)

Although Catherine Zeta Jones and Tom Jones are Welsh, and they don't seem priggish so I suppose there are exceptions.

Can't say I've ever heard of the lass, but she wouldn't be my type anyway, what with me being a raving poofter. :-P

Don't worry, Scott, none of us here thinks you're a "raving poofter." ;-)
