Does the Murano satnav question support UK postcodes?

This is a key requirement for me but I can't find any information about this on their website.

No.

The Nissan Satnaves work to House numbers &/or Street level.

i.e. You can enter 15 High Street, Anytown (or if there is no number, you can pinpoint on the map or just guess a number to navigate you to the Street)

Thanks for confirming that. It's a real shame the that in-built satnavs don't seem to have caught up with the standalone ones. My £200 TomTom recognises full six character postcodes. It's very useful when travelling to business parks.

How do you rate the SatNav in the Murano in general? Is it accurate? Is the signal quality good? Also what is the traffic information like?

Thanks

I think that that the street name and house number system is far superior to the postcode sustem !

However, ALL the Nissan satnavs work from a DVD that is several years out of date !!! That is, they do not have some roads that were completed 5 or 6 years ago !!! I have complained to Nissan, but just got a massive shrug of the shoulders.

The traffic system is fantastic - no other word for it. On Friday, warned me of a accident on the M62 and told me thew road was closed. It then re-routed me around the trouble spot.

Accuracy is very good - although the voice will occasionally give a wrong direction around a roundabout- always glance down at the map.

I've only had a signal sttength problem once - in a narrow street in Leeds with very high buildings - it lost the signal and caused me to go down a buses only street - cost me £60.00 !

It's major drawback is that it cannot be updated unless they issue a new DVD at about £120. It's major plus point is its database which has thousands of hotels, filling stations, restaurants, etc.
