You guys are cracking me up.... All your signature lines with your list of Studebakers.... And you all have the balls to go on a forum and condemn people for excessive consumption, and the pollution it brings along. And/or cite all the movies,studies and, reports of the causes... It is a political thing. Just like guns, abortion, drilling oil in Alaska, etc. These things I mention, you can get the views of individuals and definitely the politions, and probably 99% of the time you can tell if they are democratic or republican. The money they receive is a pittance compared to what industry is paying the opponents. AND, the scientist at the National Academy os Science get paid their salary no matter what they find.

I adjusted the carb and timing on the Avanti convertible and the emissions re-test showed 0.0% CO level in the exhaust at both high and low speed testing!

BTW...the State of Texas now allows 1.2% CO emissions and the Edelbrock was pumping out a whopping 6.5% before I set the timing up and adjusted the idle mixture. Amazing what a properly tuned engine can do!

If it were not for things like hurricane, man could not live on the earth. The rotating earth cause winds that take the heat from the equatorial areas of the earth and moves it towards the poles. That in turn forces cold air toward the equatorial areas of the earth.

The fact is 'global warming' IS political because some in power use it to achieve they own agenda, albeit well intended or misguided. It is easy to say one favor the polluters, even though it is impossible to live without causing some pollution. Even nature pollutes. The fact is the US is they most environmentally friendly county on earth even though it consumes more and produce more than any other county on earth ;)
