2003 Tundra shake..

Has anyone experienced what feels like a shimmy coming from the rear end when taking off at low to medium speeds? It feels like it is the rear end or somewhere along the rear part of the drivetrain. Any hints about the cause would be appreciateive. My Tundra ia a 2003 SR5 Access Cab Stepside. Thanks.

You might want to check the rear drivershaft for proper phasing (if its a single cardan setup):

A quick check of the driveshaft angles could rule out alignment problems. Might also grab hold of the shaft and give it a good tug to check for play in the u-joints and slip yoke. Also, see if the 4 flange bolts at each end are tight.

4wd? If so, grease the driveshaft spline just forward of the differential. That helps in some cases.
