The stock anti-sway bar was missing on my '68 Bug pan, so I picked up an old one and a set of new clamps and rubber bits from Wolfsburgwest. Now, what is the trick to installing those things? How do you get the clamp to go around the rubber enough so you can push the retaining clip on?

you need to compress the clip on the new rubber to get it close enough to get the clip started...you can use large "channel locks" or vise grips....(it is somewhat similar to compressing the rings on a piston to get the piston into the cylinder).... J
I used a combination of C-clamp to compress and big channellocks to slide.
