This thread is sort of drifting into promotion and logistics. Given the idea only really got going 2 days ago, let's not rush into this too quickly. Neil and the MuddyClubbers are building a site - which I'm sure will enable a better, more structured approach - including logistical planning and a process for promotion and press releases.
Can we keep this thread to nominations / discussions around potential worthy causes who may financially benefit from our 'fun' of the journey.
I'd like to add my vote in favour of 1 and 4, maybe even just MacMillan - it'll look a bit better if there's a decent total goes to one organisation. You can plan other events and take the charities in rotation ;)
