On my 1990 RRC (presumably also Vogue SE) it is wood!
Certainly so in the case of the plastic cap. _Possibly_ so in the case of the wooden cap.
That is what I was hoping when I applied gentle persuasion to the front edge of the _wooden_ cap - to the accompaniment of cracking sounds!

As far as I know all the caps are the same physically. Postage £1.50 (coz it wont go thrught the PO's "letter box" without the aid of a hammer).

In view of your cessation of M/O operations is it going to be more trouble (for you) than it's worth to order it from you? Especially considering what the credit card people charge you.
