I am wiring up a replacement tub to my smashed D90 pickup and it is coming along nicely. I have the rear lights on one side wired up and am about to start on the other side. Only thing is I have a fat purple wire I can't account for!
The vehicle is a 1992 200Tdi Defender 90 pick up and the tub is presumed from a Defender safari type vehicle. I've stripped out a lot of wiring at the rear of the replacement tub which presumably went to rear wiper, heated screen, etc. but this wire if from the original pick up end, i.e. it is part of the priginal vehicle. No purple wires to the rear in the Haynes diagram but that doesn't mean much.
