My daughter has a J reg astra 1.6 ecotec, and it's been playing up of late. It's very fond of doing 3000rpm when it should be idling, even revving up when changing gear. I haven't got a scanner, so she's had a friend of a friend of a friend scan it, and it apparently said code 24 - no speed measurement. The guy is saying that it may be a sensor or may be the ecu in which case it will have to go to Vauxhall for resetting.
Comments/experiences/advice/estimates of cost all welcome.
