Mondeo

Got a problem with my mondeo that has got grarually wosre, when braking and the speedo hits between 50/40 mph the dashboard will shake like hell, anything above/below that its ok.

Had recently all tyres changed/balanced and thought it may be one of them so removed each one in turn and it's made no differance. So recently had the discs/pads changed and then changed again still the same, drop links anti roll bar bushes changed and the arms are spot on, no knocking from the front or play in anything at all so at a stage as to what to do next, Just passed its mot so god knows but its bloody anoying any ideas?

Bent driveshaft, or even the weight on the longer of the two is missing / has moved... maybe.

Erm... dunno on those - worth checking anyway, given you seem to have checked everything else out that would probably be causing said problem already.

They are lumps of rubber IIRC and so could perish and move around.

Checked them they are ok,but i did hear something today that may be the prob, where it is is another thing, While sat and turning the wheel to the left i get a cracking noise as if something is dry and being forced to move also if i move the steering wheel left>right fairly quick i get a knock or clunk in a certain place all the time any thoughts on this.
