I rallied a Sunbeam in the early '90s, fighting the rust on that was a nightmare and the thing was utterly mollycuddled. Ok, it'd do rallies but it was cleaned back to spotless within a few hours of the end of every event and stored in near perfect conditions. Still rusted like a rusty thing.

I don't need that big. The beauty of the estima is, the last set fold away, so it is just a like a big car with room for my bike should I decide to ride, loads of space for tipruns/b&q and get 4/5 good seats.

Heh! I suspect you'd have a love / hate relationship with the T5. When it grips, it goes very well. When it doesn't, it doesn't, heh.

Hasn't even really worn it's tyres that bad. Fuel has been about 25mpg average over some long trips and town work. Hasn't put a foot wrong yet .

From reading on the owners forum I'm part of, the only main issue seems to be coil packs, and mine had 6 new ones just before I bought it, so I'm sitting pretty at the moment

I only know one Scooby driver too.

His is a 2.5 in an original Impreza RA shell. It has a dog box which he got from somewhere in australia. Active centre diff - which can actually have different settings under braking. And around 500 bhp - it's a sprint car.

He's definitely not a boy racer, just an actual racer.
