Programmers, chips, and such won't do diddly to correct a pre-99 speedo. It's either gotta be done mechanically or with a signal modifier like th SpeedCal. In yours (and my) case the SpeedCal is the most practical because the mechanical solution involves opening up the tranny to change the drive gear.
