I hope that none of these virii were caused by my email guys...........



I don't think so , as I have no excessive emails to decipher, and I am pretty good about not opening anything that is not from someone very familiar.



As Far As I know, I am still fairly virus free...........But then again, we're coming up on Flu Season pretty soon.



Sorry to hear about all the issues some of you are having.



Please let me know if there's anything happening that indicates it is my machine handing out bad grades.

and get KAV. AVG is nice only because it is free, as far as it's ability to catch virii.....it is the Charley Brown of AVS......that being said....any AV is better than NO AV....but if you want to actually have the best protection available today.....Fsecure or KAV are the two top choices.....

Here is a FREE German anti virus proggy that is better than AVG and updated more frequently than f.exs. Norton. Comes in English lingo setup, so far very happy and I've tried a few...

For a free firewall try Sygate or ZoneAlarm, another nice proggy is Mailwasher, downloads the headers from your mail server, and lets you bounce/delete unwanted mail without actually downloading it to your machine.

I'm Considering moving to Linux as an OS. I am probably going to buy another generic box and start working with it to see if *I* am Linux compatible...................Might as well, . I can buy basic computer already running it for a measly 299................NEW.

That's fair I think.................course that's just the box, keyboard and mouse...............but a hell of a deal. Leaves plenty of room to get a nice flat panel monitor too.
