Roller ... Inch gloss ones, the paint is Autopaints synthetic and all told the paint (2 Litres of synth) 5 litres of cellulose thinners ( for cleaning) and 2 litres of primer cost me £47 :-)

Then it was just elbow grease , filler , more elbow grease, lots of hoovering (did it in the garage) and then the final application took around

5 hours for the visibile bits.. then about another 4 hours for the finer detail such as the cappings and gutter.... oh and tyre paint as I got carried away with the wheel spray.

First time I've used a roller, can't recomend them enough...no brush strokes!

It's Actually a VW colour... I'm hoping it helps with reliability :-) Anfd I wanted something a little different without resorting to chrome and flames.... besides I can blag as the forestry commision when doing green lanes.

You can not rush this landrover ... it was not ready yet ..........psssssttttt glug glug glug .......

Fingers crossed.. May be a weather permititng one as I've yet to install such a thing as a heater.. failing that it could be a convoy jobbie.

Yeah come to think of it if I get the Mrs and Kids to flat off the paintwork on the inside then I can do two jobs in one go...keep them warm and get the inside preped for the paint treatment :-)
