Roller ... Inch gloss ones, the paint is Autopaints synthetic and all told the paint (2 Litres of synth) 5 litres of cellulose thinners ( for cleaning) and 2 litres of primer cost me £47 :-)
Then it was just elbow grease , filler , more elbow grease, lots of hoovering (did it in the garage) and then the final application took around
5 hours for the visibile bits.. then about another 4 hours for the finer detail such as the cappings and gutter.... oh and tyre paint as I got carried away with the wheel spray.
First time I've used a roller, can't recomend them enough...no brush strokes!

It's Actually a VW colour... I'm hoping it helps with reliability :-) Anfd I wanted something a little different without resorting to chrome and flames.... besides I can blag as the forestry commision when doing green lanes.
Yeah come to think of it if I get the Mrs and Kids to flat off the paintwork on the inside then I can do two jobs in one go...keep them warm and get the inside preped for the paint treatment :-)
