i love my jap cars but even i have to say there alloys suck! even MR2's suffered the pealing and bubbling they all seem to get. although my MR2 wheels were ok apart from one of the centre caps but i swapped that with another set of MR2 alloys i had in the garage, actually still have in the garage! anyone want/need some MK2 15" MR2 alloys?

I was shown the test cert bundles. This one didn't have the advisory sheet, the last one did. The tyres are not the ones fitted at the test, so their condition isn't relevant. I did check the screen based on the previous advisory and couldn't see the chip either from the inside or outside.

But I will add that to the reasons to reject if needed. They will of course claim they never had it.

Right folks - this time let's recommend he gets the most ridiculous of choices, with long reasons of justification for whatever car we're each recommending, and he *might* just end up buying something sensible like a diesel Passat.....

My justification - it'll be in mint condition, won't have many toys to break, has a cheese-tastic vinyl interior like a lot of 70s Jap stuff and a fantastic sounding V8. Classic insurance will be cheap enough, and converted to LPG it won't cost much more than the earth to run.

i bought the MR2 Turbo with only seeing pics sent over from japan, probably the cleanest tidiest car i've had not including the mini which is loads newer and lower miles.

Make it an estate for truly sensible, mind; the boot opening on the saloon could be a bit bigger.

should of got a mini one mate, i get about 350-360 miles on 35 quid :)
