Interesting Video

Bit of a sore point over here. Holden made a "production" Monaro which they entered into the Bathurst 24 hour race for production cars. It was a full-on race car and the only thing Monaro about it was the badge. Had a 7 litre chev, space frame chassis etc etc. Suffice to say it won over a field of stock cars. After winning Holden decided they weren't going to make them after all. Funny about that.

Lets just say the Porsche, Ferrari and Saleen drivers who entered were pissed. And this years 24 hour got cancelled after lack of entrants/sponsorship.

A quick discussion over dinner leads us to believe that it may have only been estates that had it. If not, it may have only been an option.

Jings! looking at the pictures, does your mate also tar driveways, pick winkles and sharpen knives for a living?

Looks pretty damn similar to mine. Low range 4wd is a cool idea. I saw a WRX wagon once jacked up about a foot with some dirty big mud tyres on it. Cool.
