On of the D2 selling points was that the windscreen was taller ..... so I'd say no.
Bad form I know but .... when my screen was "not MOT'able" - the insurance company sent the guys over and replaced it. Cost me £25. What's your glass excess??? Remember it doesn't affect your no-claims, and they will normally go to the garage and sort it there and then.
Yes I do, no it won't. Mate tried to do this (other way round, D1 windscreen onto D2), doesn't fit. As NB said, the 300 windscreen is smaller by enough that it simply wouldn't work. IIRC it also has slightly different curvature profile, so it's not as if it won't fit in only one direction or plane either.
