It also helps to fend of the burglars, as they tend to think there's some mad survivalist living here, with guns in the cellar. What nonsense eh? Who on earth would keep guns in the cellar - they'd go rusty...

My car collection has now expanded onto the road, and to my parents house.. I sorted out all my documents the other day and got scared at the number of V5 documents i had!

Hmm. Sounds familiar. I had to get a garage for my 101 Ambi, as the neighbours (well, one old fool, anyway) complained that it "lowered the tone"

Room for 3 more, I reckon. The 'frontage' of the house is quite long (about 90 foot in total) and the unwritten rule - according to the neighbours, is that you park your car(s) outside your own house...

I had a small group of neighbours congregating earlier. They were more concerned that Bungle was going to get wet as I've left the tilt off.

It gets scarier when you have to tax them all - I really must develop an enthusiasm for pre 72 series vehicles :-)

Just don't go doing any bank jobs with that registration number :-)

sounds familliar. My neighbour constantly moans about my 2a lwb as its full of dents and covered in mud from trialling it! It also marks its territory constantly. So the wife won`t let me park it in the drive as its a bugger getting the stains off and the flower beds next to the drive are already 4 inches higher than thy were (mud has to be brushed somewhere) so its consigned to being parked on the road next to his BMW company car. Hahahaha he hates it, he loathes it - especially when i dart out and fire the diesel up when he`s lounging about in his front garden. He coughs really loudly and you ca hear him mutting about "scrap yards - council

- DVLA - police etc" hahaha I only do it now to annoy the bugger!

There is one similar to that in a garden not too far from here. Bruce keeps saying he's going to pop in one day and see what they're doing with it.

So how many then? We had five on the front the other day. Our three and an M reg Discovery and a 1980 LWB Series 3 which we were babysitting while the owner went on holiday.

Are We just counting the landies here? Last wednesday before billing we had 7 :-)

They all live here except 2 of the series's. My poor cars keep getting kicked out onto the road!

Why 5 series land rovers? Are some for spares or are they all projects for restoration?

Arn't most series landies projects of some form? :)

I share a house with one of my mates. We have a 2A each, then a series

The other 2 were visiting.

I suppose i could also count the other series 3 that is in bits behind the garage. Its complete except for the chassis and engine which are waiting to come here :)

Its a good job the garden isnt any bigger, as otherwise there'd probably be some more landies in it!. I keep getting awfully tempted when i see wrecks sitting about on farms!. Also, when you get this many landies people keep offering you more!

Does anyone want to donate any drive/garden/yard/field space to a couple of landy collectors? :)

Aren't most landies, per se, projects of some form? :-)
